COALESCE aims to develop a cross-optimisation platform that enables integrated operation and interplay between energy grids and ICT networks
Our Mission
The mission of COALESCE is to design and develop a cross-optimisation platform that can jointly address challenges in deploying future green communication networks and micro-grid infrastructures supplied by renewables through a multidisciplinary, inter-sectoral and international Staff Exchange network.
In the process, researchers involved in COALESCE will be equipped with skills and expertise to address challenges related to energy requirements and energy cost of computing, processing and communications within future generations of data networks, via data-driven operation of energy systems run on renewables
