This call invites researchers, including PhD candidates, postdoctoral fellows, and research support staff, to participate in secondments under the COALESCE Horizon Europe MSCA Staff Exchange project.
Eligibility
– Affiliation: Researchers must be affiliated with a COALESCE participating institution.
– Experience: Open to researchers at any career stage, including PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers.
– Engagement: Must be engaged in research and innovation activities at their sending organisation for at least one month prior to the secondment.
– Return Commitment: Should return to their sending organisation after the secondment to apply and disseminate acquired knowledge.
Secondment Details
• Duration: Minimum of 1 month (30 days).
• Host Institutions: COALESCE Partners include Walton Institute at South East Technological University (Ireland) Trinity College Dublin (Ireland), Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology (Finland), University of Cyprus (Cyprus), DHA SUffa University (Pakistan), Millennium Institute of Technology & Entrepreneurship (Pakistan), Cleanwatts Digital (Portugal), Cyprus Research & Innovation Center (Cyprus), and Volue (Finland).
• Activities: Participate in developing a cross-optimisation platform for energy and communication networks, focusing on sustainability and efficiency.
Funding
• €2,300 per month to the secondee for travel, accommodation, and subsistence.
Note: Salaries are not covered; secondees must have their salary funded by their home institution. Prior approval from the line manager is required.
