Researchers visiting Walton Institute, South East Technological University, under the EU-funded COALESCE project – Shama Siddiqui, DHA Suffa University, and Anwar Ahmed Khan, Millennium Institute of Technology and Entrepreneurship – presented posters at IEEE EUROCON 2025, held in Gdynia, Poland from June 4–6. Their posters were titled “A Next Generation Multiple Access MAC for Prioritized Heterogeneous Traffic” and “DFROG-MAC: Enhancing Emergency Data Management in Vehicular Networks”, respectively.
IEEE EUROCON is one of the flagship conferences of IEEE Region 8, offering a valuable platform for researchers across Europe and beyond to present innovations in electrical and information technologies. The event fosters interdisciplinary exchange, exposure to emerging trends, and collaborative opportunities with leading experts from academia and industry.
Both posters contribute to ongoing research in next-generation wireless communication protocols, with a focus on ultra-dense IoT and vehicular sensor networks. These presentations highlight the collaborative work being carried out under COALESCE, fostering innovation through international mobility and knowledge exchange.
