Mehar Ullah, a Postdoctoral Researcher and Teacher from Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT), Finland, recently spent two months on secondment at DHA Suffa University and Millennium Institute of Technology and Entrepreneurship – MiTE University, Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.
During his time in Pakistan, Mehar was delighted to engage in research activities alongside students and faculty members at both universities covering topics such as IoT, Edge computing, Big data and AI. He enjoyed collaborating with the technical teams of both institutions, and delivered lectures to undergraduate students.
He also had the privilege to attend the 3rd International Conference on Information Science & Communication Technology 2025, organised by DHA Suffa University and University of Karachi, as a guest speaker.
“It was great to have the opportunity to work with researchers and students from both DHA Suffa University and MiTE University. As part of the conference, I also collaborated with professors from other universities, and this increased my research space globally. I am proud to acknowledge the COALESCE project in my research articles,” said Mehar.
Mehar looks forward to continuing the partnerships he has established during his secondment and expanding upon the research conducted.
